During the Great Patriotic War he was in evacuation; worked at a defense plant in Engels, Saratov region (1941-1944). In 1945 he returned to Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Regional College of Fine Arts. In 1947 he completed his diploma work &#8211; the painting &#8220;Spring in Moscow (Spring on Sretenka)&#8221;.<br \/>\nSince 1948 he was participant of exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1959).<br \/>\nExhibitions: the Spring Exhibition of the MOSSH (1955), young artists of Moscow and Moscow region (1956), All-Union Art Exhibition (1957), works by young artists of Moscow (1958, 1959), works by marine painters (1959), 15 years from the Victory Day (1961) in Moscow and others.<br \/>\nPersonal exhibitions were organized in Moscow (1971, 1984, 1989,<br \/>\n1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006), Detroit (1990), Madrid (1994), Belgrade, Beijing (both &#8211; 1998), Strasbourg, Geneva (both &#8211; 2000), Amsterdam (2001), Saint-Petersburg (2003), Kolomna (2004).<br \/>\nHe was buried at Vostryakovskoe cemetery in Moscow.<br \/>\nCreativity is represented in many museum collections, among them: the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art<br \/>\nart, Pereslavl-Zalessky State Historical, Architectural and Artistic, Museum Reserve, Arkhangelsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts, Penza Regional Art Gallery named.
